Bill Williams, Vice-president of SPEE and emeritus professor from Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Barreiro of Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, delivered a keynote about “Internationalisation Challenges in Engineering Education” at the XLVI Congresso Brasileiro de Educação em Engenharia (COBENGE) and 1º Simpósio Internacional de Educação em Engenharia da ABENGE, held at S. Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, from September 3-6, 2018. Prof. Bill’s keynote focused on the challenges related to publishing scientific articles about engineering education in international, peer-reviewed, indexed journals.
Also during COBENGE2018, the Board of Directors of SPEE and ABENGE had a working meeting to discuss the new layout of the revista de Educação em Engenharia, edited by ABENGE, targeting an international outreach, with the collaboration of Portuguese researchers.
