Submission of applications to the organization of the 5th and 6th editions of the SPEE international conference is open (CISPEE2022 and CISPEE2024, respectively).
Applications must be sent by email to SPEE ([email protected]) by April 15, 2020 with the following information:
- Organizing Institution Name
- Place and Date (which should preferably be in the period October / November 2022 and 2024)
- Organizing Committee Members
- Conference theme and scientific topics
- Conference structure
- Physical and technical conditions for the conference
- Budget containing the forecast of the main revenues and expenses, including an estimate of the value of the registration of participants
- Reasons to applying for organization
- Declaration of commitment in the following terms:
“The Organizing Committee undertakes to request the indexing of minutes by the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The conference signs will follow the model of previous editions. Conference directors and program coordinators will be selected according to the model of previous editions: the President of SPEE and the head of the Organizing Institution will be General Chairs; one of the Program Chairs is designated by the Organizing Institution, another will be responsible for the program for the previous edition and the third Program Co-chair will be designated by the Organizing Institution for the next edition of CISPEE. The Organizing Committee will deliver to SPEE, up to 6 months after the end of the event, 50% of the profits, evidenced by sending the respective report and accounts. ”
The applications received will be evaluated by SPEE Board, with the result communicated during the General Meeting of the Society, scheduled for May 6, at 2:30 pm, at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho (EE-UM). Proponents of selected applications must make a presentation at the closing session of CISPEE2020 scheduled for July 3, 2020.
